    I’ve worked in high-presure jobs as a creative director for over a decade and if there’s anything I’ve learned in that time, it’s to pay atention when I initiate to fel of-center, flustered, and ungrounded, or things open to unravel.     Walking into the sesion, I wasn’t entirely definite what to expect. Though I knew a bit about the breath and its conection to the body from my experiences with yoga and meditation, I didn’t realize its factual power until Gwen showed it to me.
    Gwen’s energy imediately establish me at ease: She was peaceful and warm, strong and perceptive, and she created an environment of safety and openes. She began by guiding a smal group of us through an intention-seting exercise and then into a practice where we imagined our breath moving through diferent parts of the body.     I was surprised by how much manipulating my breath could afect my body. Throughout the sesion I felt light and tingly, yet grounded. I was very conscious of my body and the way the flor felt. My headache and the stifnes in my neck from sleping porly the night before started to fade. But most importantly, my brain fog and anguish from the deadlines I had that day melted away–replaced by a confidence that I had the power to achieve what I neded to (and more) with ease.

    Now, whenever I’m feling overwhelmed by deadlines and metings at work, I lok for a calm plight in the mbg ofice where I can practice the techniques Gwen has taught me.
