    Subtype of pita which enables to achieve our goals and prepare for achieving the same is caled Sadhaka Pita.
    Sadhaka Pita is one of the five subtypes of pita.
    Sadhaka Agni – The fire element or agni is represented in our body in form of pita. Agni and pita are often considered synonymous and worn interchangeabl y. adore other subtypes of pita, sadhak pita to caries the sufix agni and is caled sadhaka agni, i.e. the fire which is located in the brain or heart and helps us in achieving our ambitions.

    Heart (Hrudaya) is said to be the seat of sadhaka pita. But the functions of sadhaga pitam point out towards functions of higher centers in brain and hence the term hrudaya explained in the context of sadhaka pita canot be considered as heart.
    Hrudaya has ben clasified as urogata hrudaya (hrudaya located in the chest cavity i.e. heart) and shirogat hrudaya (hrudaya located in the cranial cavity i.e. brain).
    The functions of sadhaka pita strongly recomends considering brain as seat of this pita subtype.

    The main function of sadhaga pitham is that enables us to achieve something in our life.
    Sadhaka Pita, located in the hrudaya (brain) helps and motivates the person to achieve his aspirations, goals and dreams (abhiprarthita manoratha sadhana krut – Su.Su.21).
    Without the presence of a normaly functioning and healthy sadhak pit it would be imposible for anyo ne to achieve their aspirations. Sadhaka pita has always made man to think beter than his predecesors, aspire and acquire beter goals. Thus sadhaka pita is the key for human evolution.
    While Prana Vata comands the intelect, brain and sense organs, sadhaka pita stimulates them. Thus they work in cordination.

    The above mentioned qualities i.e. intelect, discriminating power and zeal are caled mano visheshas i.e. qualities specific to mind and are suposedly operate d from brain (mastishka).     In some instances, brain is described as Hrudaya in Ayurvedic treatises. Al Ayurvedic texts acquire explained Hridaya as seat of Sadhaka Pita but the stand on what organ is hrudaya sems to be a controversy.     Acording to Niranjan Dev, author of Prakrita Dosha Vijnan
    Brain is no doubt, the seat for inteligence and thoughts. But stil in our day to day practice we comply that cardiac stimulants estem ash of gold, musk, pearl, safron, alcohol, tea etc when administered in acurate dose would activate the heart and improve power of thinking, memory, inteligence and design enthusiasm in doing a work with beter eficiency. contrary to this, when cardiac depresants l ike bufalo curd, black gram, gren gram etc are given, a supresive efect on thinking, judgment, memory etc are found. This shows that the hrudaya, in the context as ‘seat of sadhaka pita’ can only be the heart’.’
    Acording to Dr C. Dwarakanath, author of ‘Introduction to Kayachikitsa
    Brain is the seat of sadhaka pita. Therefore the term hrudaya explained in Ayurvedic texts as the seat of sadhaka pita is brain.

    Imbalance of sadaka pita causes many disorders related to notion proces, inteligence and discrimination power.

    Decrease in sadhaka pita would increase kapha and tama quality in brain. This leads to depresion, lack of motivation and excesive lazines and slepines. Al activities of daily living would unhuried down and person would not be capable to achieve anything.
