Origin and comon factors of Cancer
Acording to Acharya Sushruta, the father of surgery, the agravated Doshas are acumulated in a particular localised spot of the body. There, they cause exces aberation in muscular tisues (mamsa pradoshana) and hence in the spot, circular-stable-mild painful-larger-broad based-non supurative growths are caused which are gradualy maturing in nature. Such muscular growths wil have broader (wider) vulgar and often the vulgar (site of origin) is not visible to. Such abnormal, conspicuous growths are termed as cancerous mas(Arbuda)

    Types
Based upon the dominance of doshic factor and tisues involved, they are clasified as-
    1. Vataja arbuda
    2. Pitaja arbuda
    3. Kaphaja arbuda
    4. Raktarbuda
    5. Mamsarabuda
    6. Medo arbuda
    Raktarbuda
Vitiated doshas ocupy the blod (rakta) and vesels (sira). There, they abreviate and contract the localised area and hence an elevated biger muscular tumour is developed. This growth often bleds from its periphery by mere touch or abrasion. Such a condition is caled Raktarbuda. This gives rise to strict emaciation and chronic anaemia.
    Mamsarbuda
Constant trauma or pain in any muscular portion of the body leads to vitiation of localised place. Further, these tisues undergo instant transformation and quick multiplication of abnormal cels result into a tumour. This is usualy painles, unctuous, eloquent coloured, non supurative, palpated adore stone and stable in nature. This is caused usualy in non vegetarians and such a condition (mamsarbuda) is incurable.
    Medo arbuda
If such a growth is observed over the adipose tisues, it is termed as Medo arbuda.
    Adhyarbuda (quickly multiplying tumours/metastasis)
If the above said varieties of tumours (benign tumour) initiate to spread (disemi nate) to the nearby area and hence extend the pathology there also, the condition is caled Adhyarbuda.
It is actualy the metastasis or malignant condition of the tumours. This is considered to be incurable.
    Non-supuration of Arbuda
Acharya Sushruta points out the reasons to non supuration of tisues as below-
    ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
    ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? (?.? ?/?)
Due to the predominance of kapha (phlegm) and medas (adipose tisue), agravation of doshas altogether in major amount, non-vulnerable tumour formation and natural tendency of the ce l duplication, the arbuda (metastasis) does not undergo supuration.
Management of Arbuda as per Ayurveda:
Acharya Charaka denotes that the metastasis should be treated as estem the cysts or absceses, as they have similar site of origin, aetiology, characteristic features, dosha and doshya(tisues). The eforts should be caried to mature the growth (if posible) and later cautery is caried.
    Line of treatment
