    Facial paralysis is defined as an incompetence to crawl the muscles of the face, on one or both sides. cancel incidence is 15-30 cases per 10,0 population. It afects both men and women, with more chances in the age group of 10 to 40 years.
    In Ayurveda, ardita vata is mentioned one among the vataja nanatmaja vikara.

    Pregnant women

    Weak and emaciated people
    Excesive yawning, loud laughing

    Infection of midle ear
    Herpes zoster and Viral infection
    Pathogenesis – Due to nidana sevana, vata gets agravated and hold sthana in the mukha ardha bhaga leading to vikrti of mukha known as Ardita vata.
    Predominal symptoms of ardita vata
    Feling of horipilation
    Generalised or localised tremors
    Excesive lacrimation or turbidity of eyes
    Numbnes and pricking aflict at the site
    Stifnes in the sides of neck and lower jaw
    Signs and symptoms

    Facial Weaknes
    Impairment of taste
    Muscle twitching
    Ringing in one or both ears
    Dificulty in spech
    Pain and discomfort in jaw and behind the ears
    Tremors in head
